Last meeting:
-October 28, 2009: Toronto 101 – Cleveland 91.

Different directions:
Since that loss @ Toronto earlier this season, Toronto is 20-20, while the Cavaliers are 31-9.
Cleveland’s Highlight Performance:
(Tie)
March 20, 2005.
Toronto 105 – Cleveland 98
LeBron James: 18-36 FG; 6-12 3’s; 14-15 FT; 56 Pts; 10 Rebounds; 5 Assists; 2 Steals
This was LeBron’s 1st career 50 point game. What a performance it was! However, in the spirit of LeBron’s win first attitude, I can only put this in a tie for 1st, as this was still a loss in the standings.
November 24, 2007.

Match-up to Watch:
I would normally go with the LeBron-Hedo match-up here, but since Bargnani decided to do his best Larry Bird impression against us earlier in the season, I’ll go with him matched up with our centers. Look for a lot of small ball w/ Andy in the middle tonight to try and defuse the Italian early.
Rotation to Watch:
Bosh-Turkoglu-Bargnani-Belinelli-Calderon:
It’s only their 7th most used rotation, but when it’s on the court, it’s one of their best. This combo has only been on the court for a shade over 35 minutes this season, but has a +/- of +21, has outscored it’s opponents 8 times out of the 11 games it has seen the court, and scores 1.23 points per possession, while allowing just 1.04.
What to watch for:
- Defense. Toronto is #5 in the league in scoring at 103.7 PPG, but they are 26th in opponents scoring, giving up 104.9 PPG
- 3 Point Shooting. This game will feature 2 of the top 5 teams in 3 point shooting. The Cavaliers come in at #1, shooting .412, while Toronto is #4 at .375
- Turnover battle. Toronto is 6th in taking care of the basketball, averaging only 13.4 turnovers per contest. However, they don’t force many turnovers either, with their opponents averaging just 13.1 per game. Most of the turnovers the Cavaliers make will be on their own accord, so they must take care of the ball.
- Rebounding battle. Toronto is 25th in the league, averaging just 40.5 rebounds per game, while also giving up the 4th most offensive rebounds per contest. However, they are 15th in rebounds allowed per game. The Cavaliers need to take advantage of their outside oriented center.
- Foul situation. Toronto is 2nd in the NBA, averaging 28.1 FT attempts per game, and are 10th, shooting it at a 77% clip. The Cavaliers need to be set the tone as the aggressor early, and can’t commit stupid fouls to put Toronto to the line early in quarters.
