For those of you who missed J.J. Hickson’s great performances in the Las Vegas Summer League or me gushing over them, don’t worry, Cavaliers owner Dan Gilbert has got your back. Gilbert used Twitter to announce that he was joining many Cavs fans in the craze over young forward J.J. Hickson.

Hickson seems pretty pumped about his performance as well. At the very least, he appears to be up to the challenge of leading the Cavaliers post-LeBron. After a big scoring performance against the Suns in Vegas, Hickson stated “I know that I’m going to have a different role next season, I’m just trying to get ready for it.”

Ultimately, Cleveland fans, and now even the team’s owner, expect big things out of J.J. Hickson in that new role this upcoming season.

First it was Charles Barkley. Now it is Michael Jordan and Magic Johnson. The veterans of old are gathering to voice their disapproval of the Miami Super Friends alignment. Jordan weighed in with his opinion by claiming “things are different. I can’t say that’s a bad thing. It’s an opportunity these kids have today. In all honesty, I was trying to beat those guys [Bird and Magic].”

Almost as hilarious as the Twitter account LeBronsElbow that popped up after the odd left handed free throw, shortly after the “Decision” show, which was described as narcissistic by many viewers, the account LeBronJamesEgo was created. In this tweet, LeBron’s ego follows up on what the real LeBron James meant by “do what’s best for you and your family.” Good to know, ego. Good to know.
